    Thorpe Vineyard is situated on the south shore of Lake Ontario, adjacent to the beautiful Chimney Bluffs State Park and about halfway between Rochester and Syracuse. Located near the Lake, our vineyards get the benefit of warmer water to prevent late spring and early fall frost to extend our growing season. This, combined with owner Fumie Thorpe’s endurance and instinct for science, has resulted in one of New York’s best kept wine secrets.Thorpe Vineyard: 100% woman owned and operated since 1988.
